Wednesday – DJ Mag Party + Pacha NYC w/ Danny Tenaglia + Global Underground All Stars
Thursday – Sasha & Digweed @ Mansion (would try to get round to see Hernan Cattaneo & Darren Emerson)
Friday – Hope V’s Audiotherapy at Shine w/ Dave Seaman
Saturday – Bedrock @ The Vagabond
Sunday – Hmmm, not sure I’d even see Sunday after all this!

I love the new html2pdf extension for Firefox. I’m not going to waste any time describing what it does in any detail as it does exactly what it says on the tin
Nice and handy this one. Thanks to Rick Broida over at BNET for pointing it out
Skype opens up to business phone systems
Some big news this week is about Skype opening up its VoIP system so businesses can hook up their internet-based phone systems to the popular service.
Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is an open standard that allows calls to be initiated on an IP network and makes it possible to integrate features such as presence, or seeing who is available to take a call, into a VoIP network. On Monday, Skype announced Skype For SIP, which it says will let business customers make low-cost calls to fixed lines and mobile phones around the world, and receive calls from Skype users.

The best iPhone theme yet?
I have just spent the last hour installing a new theme on my iPhone 3G but was it worth it? I think so!!
My iPhone is Jailbroken and, courtesy of the Winterboard app, Reeco-Mac has come up with, IMHO, the best looking iPhone theme so far – iNav 1.0

R.I.P. Jade Goody – I think?
So, Ms Goody has left us for a better place – Well I hope it’s a better place for her.
I must admit I have absolutely no time for reality television ‘stars’. As far as I am concerned they don’t hold any significant value in society but I do appreciate that some people nowadays cannot get enough of this trash.
Every time I saw her on TV I turned it over. Her manner, her voice, her stupidity, I could go on, made me cringe but was she as daft as everyone makes out?
She made a heap of cash out her chosen career but at what cost? Everything people like her do is under the microscope and as Stephen Fry put it in his tweet this morning “Jade lived life under a magnifying glass. Magnifying glasses magnify (obviously) but they distort and they burn”. That said, she’s set those kids of hers up for life and I hope they are brought up properly and made to understand the value of the chance in life that they have been given by their late mother
I couldn’t help but feel that during the last few weeks, the coverage of her life had become a real-life Trueman Show and I felt that was sick. In this respect, I’m glad it’s finally over.
So goodbye Jade, I didn’t know you personally but I didn’t like the person I saw on TV they told us was you. I just hope those kids of yours live and learn
Ruin your new job with 1 Tweet
A rather amusing one doing the rounds just now about a ‘soon-to-be’ employee (or not as may now be the case) at networks giant Cisco, rather aptly named as The Cisco Fatty
After just being offered the job, he posted the following on Twitter:
“Cisco just offered me a job! Now I have to weigh the utility of a fatty paycheck against the daily commute to San Jose and hating the work.”
All well and good you may think, but it was spotted by a certain Tim Levad, an eagle-eyed Cisco employee who then promptly replied with:
“Who is the hiring manager. I’m sure they would love to know that you will hate the work. We here at Cisco are versed in the web.”
I wonder if this person shall be turning up to work on Monday??
